Mumbai: Indian benchmark indices closed weak on Monday, March 30 with the Sensex closed below 28500 points and Nifty below 8300 points. At close, the Sensex was down 1,375.27 points or 4.61% at 28440.32, and the Nifty was down 379.15 points or 4.38% at 8281.10.
While, Bajaj Finance, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Tata Steel and ICICI Bank were among major losers on the Nifty, Cipla, Tech Mahindra, Nestle, Axis Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Dr Reddys Labs and GAIL are the top gainers.
