New Delhi : Maruti Suzuki India, India’s top carmaker has announced price hike for selected models owing to rise in input costs and foreign exchange rates.
“Maruti Suzuki India Limited today announced a price change for select models owing to increase in commodity prices and foreign exchange rates etc. The price change varies across models and ranges upto Rs 10,000 (Ex-Showroom – Delhi). The new prices are effective from 10th January 2019” the company said in a regulatory filing.
Several other carmakers have already announced price hike to offset the rising cost of raw materials and exchange rate.
