NewDelhi : India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki India has registered 36.3% rise in sales in the month of June at 144,981 units. However, the sales has dropped against the May sales figure of 172,512, a fall of 16%. The above June figure includes 135,662 units in the domestic market and 9319 units of exports. The Company had sold a total of 106,394 units in June 2017.
With this the company sold a total of 490,479 units in the April-June quarter, growing 24.3% over the same period previous fiscal. This includes 463,840 units in the domestic market, a growth of 25.9 % over same period previous fiscal. Export during the quarter stood at 26,639 units.
