New Delhi : India’s COVID-19 cases rose to 2.62 lakh in the last 24-hours, which is 6.7 % higher than the previous day.
According to the daily data released by the Ministry of Health, India has reported 2,64,202 fresh COVID cases, 315 fatalities and 1,09,345 recoveries in the last 24 hours. In the 24 hours, as many as 5753 Omicron cases have been confirmed. With this total active cases have risen to 12,72,073.
The country recorded 315 COVID fatalities in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 4,85,350. Meanwhile, over 15.17 crore balance COVID vaccine doses are available with the States/UTs to be administered,the ministry said.
