Mumbai : Indian stock markets started higher today with BSE Sensex hitting a fresh all-time high and NSE Nifty breaching the 11,200 level for the for the first time ever.
The Sensex, which had closed at 36,984 points after hitting the 37000 level for the first time, today opened above the 37000 mark at 37,190.88 points. Till 10 am the index has continues its gain and has breached the 37300 level for the first time. NSE Nifty on the other hand, has also increased to 11249.75, a gain of 80 points by 10.15 am.
Meanwhile today, Asian stocks struggled to gain traction on Friday, following a mixed Wall Street finish and as the worsening Sino-US trade dispute kept investors in the region cautious, despite signs of rapprochement between the United States and Europe, Reuters said in a report.
