He also said that Modiji has already announced the creation of ‘Sri Ram Janmabhumi Teerthasketra Trust’ and a large temple of will be built at the sacred place where Lord Ram was believed to be born.
The Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA) seeks to fast-track citizenship for persecuted minority groups like Hindus, Jains, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Parsis in 3 neighbouring countries Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. However, the Act doesn’t have a provision for Muslim sects like Shias and Ahmedis who also face persecution in Pakistan. The opposition parties are opposing the Act citing that it is against the secular ethos of the constitution of India.
