Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Thursday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing that a BJP leader will take oath as the chief minister of Odisha on June 10. BJD leader V. Kartik Pandian said, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will take oath on June 9 and not June 10.
“Opposition leaders are crying crocodile tears. Naveen Patnaik will be sworn in as the Chief Minister for the sixth time on June 9 between 11.30 to 13.30 pm. No matter how big a person says, it doesn’t matter. People of many states believed in the formation of a double engine government and poured oil but ran out of vehicles stopped.“
