Bhubaneswar: Just a week ago, Indian tycoon Gautam Adani was the richest Asian in the world and among the world’s top 5 billionaires. But as on 3rd February he is out of the top 20 richest persons in the world.
In the last few days he is witnessing tremendous decline in his wealth following a report by US-based Hindenburg research alleging stock manipulation and financial wrongdoing.
As per Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Gautam Adani is now the 21st richest person in the world with a fortune of USD 61.3 billion. In 26th January his total personal wealth was USD 113 billion, while In September 2022, his wealth was peaked to USD 150 billion.
Gautam is now the 3rd richest Asian preceded by RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani ( USD 80.3 billion, world ranking 12) and Chinese billionaire Zhong Shansan (USD 69.3 billion, world rank 14th).
As per the list Bernad Arnault is the richest person in the world with a fortune of USD 193 billion.
As per the Forbes real time billionaires list, Gautam Adani has slipped to 22nd rank with a fortune of USD 57.8 billion, declined by 22 percent in the last one week.
