NewDelhi : Assembly Elections in five states- Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Mizoram and Telangana will be held between 12th November to 7th December. While election in Chattishgarh will be held in two phases, polling in the other 4 states will be held in single phase.
Addressing the media, the Chief Election Commission (CEC) OP Rawat today informed that while polling in Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram will be held on November 28, Telangana and Rajasthan will go to polls on December 7.In Chhattisgarh, Rawat said that elections will be held in two phases. The first phase will be held on November 12 that will cover LWE hit districts. The second phase will be held on November 20.
He informed that counting of votes in all the five states will be held simultaneously on December 11. He said that the whole exercise will be completed before December 15.
