New Delhi: The counting of votes is going on in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir and as per early trends Congress is leading in Haryana. In Jammu and Kashmir the NC-Congress alliance is also leading.
As per latest reports, the counting of postal ballots has concluded at the counting centers across Haryana, and the first trends for all 90 seats are in. So far, the early trends indicate a landslide victory for the Congress, with the party leading in 55 seats, while the BJP is ahead in 24 seats. In J&K NC is leading in 45 seats, while BJP is leading in 23 seats and Congress is leading in 7 seats. Independent candidates are leading in 10 seats. Please note that these are the initial trends based solely on the postal ballots and first round of counting.
