Bollywood Legend Dilip Kumar passes Away at 98
Mumbai : Legendary Indian actor Dilip Kumar has passed away at 98. Following complains of breathing problem, the veteran actor was admitted to the Hinduja hospital last month.
For the last few days, his wife and actress Saira Banu and his close friend Faisal Farooqui had been sharing updates that the actor’s health is improving and he will soon be discharged from the hospital. However, his health condition worsened last night and Kumar passed away earlier this morning.
Sharing the news, Faisal Farooqui tweeted from Dilip Kumar’s official Twitter handle and wrote: “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return.” Saira Banu is yet to share her statement.

Several dignitaries including President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home minister Amit Shah, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Superstar Amitabh Bachan have expressed grief over Kumar’s death.
