NMDC hikes Iron Ore prices upto 30% in less than a month
Bhubaneswar: Public sector Iron Ore miner NMDC has hiked Iron Ore prices upto 30% in less a month due to improved demand scenario in the domestic market. The revised prices have been made eefective from 14th of April.
While Iron Ore Lump price (65.53, 6-40mm) has been hiked to Rs. 6950 per tonne, Fine (643, -1 Omm) price has been hiked to Rs. 5060 per tonne. These FOR prices are excluding Royalty, DMF, NMET, Cess, Forest Permit Fee and other taxes.
The revised price of iron lump is 18.8 % more than the price fixed on 3rd April and 30% more than the price fixed on 20th March. Similarly, the revised fine price is 11% more than the price announced on 3rd April and 17% more than the price announced on 20th March.
