Biznextindia : Indian IT services giant Infosys on Tuesday announced that it’ll open its 7th global Cyber Defence Centre in Indianapolis, USA on 3rd March. The centre will be opened at the Infosys Technology and Innovation Center inaugurated last year.
The shares of Infosys rose by 0.86% to Rs.802.05on the BSE in the morning trade Tuesday.
The new Cyber Defense Center will offer real-time cybersecurity monitoring and protection services to American businesses. The facility is designed to prevent, detect, assess and respond to cybersecurity threats and breaches. Infosys has already 6 cyber defence centres spread across North America, Europe and Asia.
“The Cyber Defense Center is staffed with expert security analysts with niche skills around threat research and intelligence gathering to deliver best-in-class services to our customers. Additionally, advanced data analytics and machine learning models are deployed to detect zero-day threats by unknown threat actors.
