New Delhi: Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported a robust 40 per cent growth in dispatches in December 2025, reaching 4.56 lakh units, compared to 3.25 lakh units in the same month last year.
According to the company, VAHAN registrations stood at 2.91 lakh units during the month, reflecting strong consumer demand supported by festive momentum, new product launches, and sustained performance across both ICE and electric scooter portfolios.
(VAHAN data excludes Telangana and is as of January 1, 2026.)
The company also witnessed continued traction in its global business, contributing significantly to overall growth across key international markets.
Strong Q3FY26 Performance
Building on its strongest-ever festive season, Hero MotoCorp posted a robust performance in Q3FY26 (October–December 2025), registering year-on-year growth across both motorcycle and scooter segments. The growth was largely driven by multiple new model launches across categories.
The ICE scooter segment recorded a notable 45 per cent growth during the quarter, led by strong demand for newly launched models such as Destini 110, Destini 125, Xoom 125 and Xoom 160, the company said.
Global Business Marks a Landmark Year
Hero MotoCorp’s global business continued its upward trajectory, with dispatches rising 21 per cent in December 2025 to 37,236 units, compared to 30,754 units in the same period last year.
During Q3FY26, the company reported a 41 per cent growth in exports, supported by new market entries and portfolio expansion, marking a landmark year for its international operations.
VIDA Gains Market Share
VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s emerging electric mobility arm, also delivered a strong performance, reporting 10,701 VAHAN registrations in December 2025. The brand maintained a market share of 11 per cent, driven by the success of the VX2 EVOOTER, continued festive demand, and positive consumer sentiment across markets.
