Biznextindia : Bajaj Auto, India’s largest seller of three-wheeler vehicles and second largest seller of two-wheeler vehicles, on Thursday reported 29 percent rise in its May 2023 sales at 3,55,148 units against 2,75,868 units in October’20.
The company’s domestic sales has doubled to 2,28,401 units in May 2023 from 1,12,308 units in May 2022. However, weak export sales, which was declined by 23 percent to 1,26,747, has restricted its impressive growth in the domestic market.
In the two-wheeler segment the company has registered 23 percent growth at 3,07,696 units, while the commercial vehicle segment has posted an impressive growth of 80 percent to 47452 units.
This sales includes chetak technology, which is a fully owned subsidiary of Bajaj Auto.
