Bengaluru/East Brunswick, July 27: Wipro Ltd has strengthened its partnership with Databricks to help enterprises modernise data infrastructure and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) at scale.
As part of the expanded collaboration, Wipro has established a dedicated Databricks business practice focused on developing industry-specific AI solutions and accelerators. The initiative aims to help organisations transition from fragmented data systems and isolated AI pilots to enterprise-wide, governed AI deployments.
The practice combines Databricks’ capabilities in agentic AI, data modernisation, analytics and application development with Wipro Intelligence™, the company’s AI-powered platform suite. It will also leverage Wipro’s WEGA agent-native delivery platform to help enterprises migrate from legacy systems to AI-ready data architectures.
According to Wipro, the new practice is backed by experience from more than 300 AI and data projects across banking, financial services, healthcare, telecom, manufacturing and energy sectors. It has also earned Databricks’ Banking Partner of the Year 2025 and Innovation Partner of the Year 2026 awards.
Kanwar Singh, Managing Partner – Technology Services at Wipro, said the partnership will combine consulting expertise, platform specialists and industry teams to accelerate enterprise data transformation and AI adoption.
Kori O’Brien, Senior Vice President, Partnerships at Databricks, said the collaboration would help enterprises build trusted data foundations and deploy production-ready AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
