Mumbai: Despite spike in COVID-19 cases in major territories like Mumbai and Delhi, Godzilla vs Kong has raked a descent total in the extended weekend.
According to movie trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, Godzilla vs Kong has fetched about 28.96 crore as on Sunday. The movie collected Rs.6.40 crore on Wednesday, Rs.5.40 crore on Thursday, Rs. 4.22 crore in Friday, Rs. 6.42 crore in Saturday and Rs. 6.52 crore on Sunday.

He said that despite strong word of mouth, the movie hasn’t realised its full potential as it could have collected over Rs.50 crore in pre-covid times.
The movie’s total collection has affected due to dull contribution from Maharastra and Delhi region However, with good collections from South India, the movie has managed a good total of Rs.28.96 crore as on Sunday. South India has contributed about 60-65% to the total collection of the movie.
Directed by Adam Wingard ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ is about the epic battle between two monsters- Kong and Godzilla.
