New Delhi: In the wake of COVID19 outbreak, the Delhi government has announced lockdown from 6 am Monday to 31st March.
Announcing the decision Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that except essential service providers all other installations and services will be closed during these days. The government has sealed the borders of Delhi, suspended Bus services, Metro Services, flights from and to Delhi. Only 25% DTC buses will be functional to carry out essential services.

All private companies have also ordered shuttered down, but their staffs will be regarded as on service, said Kejriwal.
However, Essential service providers like Hospitals, Municipal Service, food and kirana shops, Banks, state & Central Government departments, Print and Electronic media, Telecom will remain functional.
Worldwide COVID19 cases have climbed up rapidly to go past the 3 lakh mark. According to latest reports, total positive cases have reached 3 lakh 11,894 along with 13,071 deaths.
